The Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm comes in a small tub with a lid. It comes with a tiny spatula (which I love as it does not dirty the remaining product in the tub when you are using your fingers to scrap the product out of the tub). The packaging is sturdy and good for the price point. They give a huge amount of product so I can complain. The packaging is just right.
Texture
The texture is thick and wax-like. However, it is lightweight. Easily melts on the skin and spreads evenly on dry skin. It emulsifies the moment you add water to the product and does not leave behind any residue.
Fragrance
I have the original formula and the scent is not bothersome. The balm contains no added fragrance and the smell is not lingering. I have no issues with it.
My Experience with Banila Co Clean It Cleaning Balm
This is easily one of my favorite cleansing balms. The cleansing balm is easy to work with and removes my stubborn waterproof mascara and even sunscreen in one go.
A gentle massage is enough. I have dry skin so I am always worried about how my skin with react after using any skincare product, I hate the stretchy dry feeling on my skin. But the Banila co clean it cleansing balm does not dry out my skin or irritate it.
After using a water-based cleanser in my second step, the balm is completely gone and no residue is remaining. But you can use just this balm if you do not wear heavy makeup.
If you love using heavy makeup but are lazy to remove it this cleansing balm is the best. It’s do less get more feeling.
The pore-cleansing variant contains salicylic acid which is a chemical exfoliator – that is great for acne-prone skin.
